Bertram Gibbs

Bertram "Bert" Gibbs of Marblehead, formerly of Chelsea and Revere. Entered into Rest February 24, 2013 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of the late Norma (Adelson) Gibbs. Dear son of the late Arthur and Shirley (Kaplan) Gibbs. Devoted father of Terry Cominsky and her husband Martin of Houston, TX and Dawn Colsia of Newton. Loving brother of the late Richard F. Gibbs. Brother-in-law and sister-in-law of Sidney and Gladys Adelson and George Kurs. Cherished grandfather of Michael Brown, Rayna and Aaron Golub, Sarah and Rachel Cominsky. Adored great grandfather of Silas Brown. Dear uncle to Robin Gibbs and Michele Gibbs-Luna as well as other nieces and nephews from the Adelson and Kaplan families. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 27th, 2013 at 10 AM at Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin St, Salem. Interment will follow at Sudlikov Cemetery, Fuller St, Everett. Friends and family are invited to gather immediately following interment at his late residence until 5PM. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to the Perkins School for the Blind, 175 North Beacon St, Watertown, MA 02472.
