Steven Esterly Obituary

Steven A. Esterly, 55, of Providence, and a former longtime Franklin resident, died Monday, Aug. 30, 2010, at his home. He was the former husband of Aura N. (Lopez) Esterly and Laurie (Archer) Wagner of Blackstone. Born in Milford, March 22, 1955, a son of the late Richard H. and Barbara E. (Jones) Esterly, he was raised and educated in Franklin and was a 1973 graduate of Franklin High School. Mr. Esterly was employed by the Honeywell International Corp. of Cranston as a forklift operator. He was an avid fan and follower of the Boston Red Sox, the New England Patriots, and the Boston Celtics. He also leaves two sons: Jared M. Esterly of Bellingham, Jacob B. Esterly of Ft. Worth, Texas, a brother Richard H. Esterly Jr. of Franklin, a sister Pamela J. Cybulski and her husband David of Franklin, and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Sally Ann Beaupre. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Saturday, Sept. 4, at 9:30 a.m., from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home, 33 Cottage St., Franklin, www.franklinfuneral.com with a funeral service at 10 a.m., in the Franklin United Methodist Church, 82 W. Central St., Route 140, Franklin. Interment will follow in the family lot in Union Street Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday, Sept. 3, 4-8 p.m. Donations in his memory sent to the charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
