William J. Affleck

William J. Affleck, 48, of Rockland, died Sunday, May 16, 2010, at Signature Health Care Brockton Hospital after a brief illness. He was born in Weymouth, March 24, 1962, and was raised and educated in Abington. William was a self-employed carpenter. He loved cooking, yard work, enjoyed watching wrestling, was a sports fan and always thought about everyone else before himself. He is survived by his parents, Alexander T. Affleck Sr. of Attleboro and Dolores (Hickey) Cook of Metairie, La. He was the loving father of William Affleck and Cassandra Affleck, both of Naples, Fla.; brother of Alexander T. Affleck Jr. of Rockland, Michael J. Affleck of Metairie, La., Ann Marie Crosby of South Paris, Maine, and Patrisha Forcha of Kenner, La.; nephew of Daniel V. Hickey of Worcester, Kathleen Little of Apoka, Fla., Marilyn Poirier of Whitman, James Hickey Jr. of Los Angeles and Alice Revey of North Attleboro. Also survived by his longtime friend and companion, Arnette Hall; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held May 22.
