Richard Italiano Obituary

Richard B. Italiano, Jr., 41 years, died on Thursday, February 21st after a courageous battle with cancer. He was at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the cherished husband of Kerry E. (Donohue) Italiano. Born in Malden and raised in Saugus, he was the son of Richard B. Italiano, Sr., and Joanne M. (Tulipani) Italiano of Saugus. He was a member of the Screen Actors Guild and AFTRA. He appeared in several movies filmed in Boston, including The Departed, 27 Dresses, What Doesnt Kill You and Ted. He was a talented musician and enjoyed playing his piano. He enjoyed spending time with his family at Taylor Pond in Auburn, Maine. In addition to his wife, he leaves two daughters Katelyn and Kristina, his brother Ronald Italiano of Chicago, IL and his wife, Kristin, and their children Julia, Stephen and Jack and a sister, Rachel Sorrentino of Saugus and her husband Enzo and their children Alessandra, Joseph, and Anthony. He also leaves behind a large extended family including many aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers and sisters in laws, and nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Richs name to Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund, Mass General Hospital, 165 Cambridge Street, Suite 600, Boston MA 02114-2792 A funeral was held from the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., SAUGUS, on Wednesday, February 27th at 10:30 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Margarets Church, 431 Lincoln Ave., Saugus, at 11:30 a.m. Visiting hours were on Tuesday, February 26th, 4-8 p.m. Interment was at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
