Beatrice ASMAR Obituary
Passed away on Saturday March 29, 2014 at Windsor Regional Metropolitan Hospital. Beloved wife of George (2001). Dear mother of George (Jeanette), Judith Anne Wheeler (Ted), Sandra Durance, Thomas (2013) and Joyce and Pamela Zurba (Peter). Cherished grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Loving Aunt to Chris Asmar, Cathy Hamel (Paul), and Susan Ridlon (Rob). Predeceased by her brother Ernest and sister Vera. Beatrice was the former owner of Maple Leaf Importing. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Peer and the staff on the 5th and 6th floor at Met Hospital for their care and compassion. Visitation will be held at

on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. C.W.L. prayers will be said on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. Parish Prayers Tuesday evening at 8:00 p.m. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 from 9:30 a.m. until time of procession to Our Lady of Guadalupe for Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest. Donations to St. Vincent De Paul, Hiatus House or the Downtown Mission would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences may be left at www.janissefuneralhome.ca

Family From the day Bea and I met in 1961, she welcomed me into the family. Wilf and I shared some good times and some wonderful memories with her. As Vera's only sister, she was my connection to all of you through the years. She was always so happy to share news of the family and your achievements. What a lovely example of unconditional love she was. Our shared birthday will have a little less joy this year. I will miss her, but Heaven gained an angel with a beautiful smile. My love and condolences to each of you at this time.

Dear Judy, Ted, Terry Anne, Kim, Sandy and families,
We were heartbroken to hear the news of Bea's passing. We have lost a loving, kind and most special lady but Heaven has gained an angel.
We pray for all of you that peace will find it's way into your hearts and when the sadness seems to overcome you, bring back your happy memories in your mind's eye
