George will forever be part of the great family over at Benthic and not a day will pass where we won't have a smile to remember or a story to share.

I am very sad to read about George. I only knew him for 4 months when my husband Pete was in Hospice care. George and Pete had worked together at the city. His visited often and I learned much about him. He had a quiet, kind and compassionate way about him that was comforting to me as he knew what we were facing. I had the pleasure of meeting his son George when I visited him at Hospice. George will be greatly missed.

To the family... As I knew George from many days scuba diving, he was one of the most friendly and cordial men I have met to this day. Very great loss to this world, and may his soul watch over us all under the water, the sea and on land...Peace is now with him forever...Mark Van Watteghem

An inspiration to me, in my better-late-than-never scuba undertaking. Although I only knew him for 4 years, his passion for the sport, left me in awe. Sharing a similar age, he made me believe in my potential. In those 4 short years, we became great friends. I, and the whole of Benthic Scuba, will miss your perpetual smile, and cheery personality. RIP George

I knew George as an usher at Our Lady of Guadalupe. He would sit in the front entrance and chat with people as he came in. I had many interesting conversations with him. I'm so sorry to hear this-he will certainly be missed. My sympathies to his family and friends.
