I'm sorry I'm so late to see and respond to this. When I got to Wake, I was YEARS behind everyone else. She made time for me and taught me how to write good papers. I went on the grad school, and remembered her with every paper I wrote. I taught my daughter, when she was an Y princess girl, how to write a research paper. I was honored to believe she actually liked me.

Beulah was a wonderful and great woman....I had the great priviledge to meet her and to share the same birthdate with her. I meet her on her 100th birthday and I felt so blessed to have met her....I will truly miss her and if we all could be just half the person that she was this world would be a better place!!!! God Bless you Beulah!!!!

Mrs. Raynor was a true lady. She was one of the few left who cared about the "Wake Forest Family" . We will miss her.

Beulah Lassiter was my Mother's High School English teacher at Lewiston High School in Bertie County. Later on Beulah Raynor taught my Mother English at Wake Forest College in Wake Forest. Right now I'm certain the folks in heaven are getting a lecture on Wake Forest Basketball.
She was a genuine character.
Always that beautiful Smile!!!

Ms Beulah was a dear friend, she was always in good spirits when I would come to her apartment to care for her,if she was upset when I arrived we would always find something silly to talk about and she would beam that wonderous smile at me and we would have another grand evening. Beulah will be missed very much, but I know she is in Gods arms looking down on us,we have another Angel looking down on us all.

Beulah was a faithful member of Wake Forest Baptist Church. I remember when my children were young and my youngest called her Grandma Blulah. She loved all of the children and they her. Her love and generosity remain with those of us who loved her.

Mrs. Raynor was my faculty advisor for all four years at Wake. She was a stern teacher and a dear friend through the years. I got married after my freshman year and she attended the wedding in Lewisville and made me feel very special. She was always there to help and advise me long after graduation. Her birthday was 1 day before my anniversary and we shared a special bond. She is truly one of the brightest candles of my life. In later years we often saw and celebrated Wake Wins in sports.
Thanks for being such a special friend for me.
