Elizabeth Robinson "Liz" Boyles

Boyles Elizabeth "Liz" Robinson Boyles, 71, died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was born Oct. 22, 1939, to the late Early G. and Elsie Evans Robinson. She had been employed in the Marion area for over 50 years as a well-loved beautician. She was affectionately called "MaMaw" by her grandchildren and was a dearly cherished wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend to all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Michael Boyles; brother, Sammy Robinson; and nephew, Stephen Graham Robinson. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Clegg Williams of Groseclose; two sisters, Lula Lundy of Marion and Linda McClure and husband, Jerry, of Chilhowie; three brothers, Virgil Robinson and wife, Lena Mae, Carl Robinson and wife, Bonnie, and Early C. "Johnny" Robinson and wife, Lois, all of Marion; a sister-in-law, Wanda West of Marion; a brother-in-law, Quinten Boyles of Wytheville; two grandchildren, Tristan and Kennedy; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted Friday, Dec. 10, at 8 p.m. in Seaver-Brown Chapel with the Rev. Jonathan Jonas and the Rev. Walter Monroe Landers officiating. Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, Dec. 11, at 10 a.m. in Walkers Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
