GENEVA CARYLEEN MARSHALL TURPIN FLOYD-Geneva Caryleen Marshall Turpin, 85, left on her heavenly journey Thursday, October 21, 2010. Those left to cherish her memory are her ten children and spouses: Ray and Linda Turpin, Roy and Juanita Turpin, Wanda Cox, Bonnie and Jesse Lawrence, Juanita and Joe Salmons, Kathy Adkins, Rita Turpin and James Worrell, Marla and Danny Owen, Teresa and Scott Beard, and Buddy Turpin; sisters, Isabelle Jalis of Dumfries, VA and Oleda Henley of Pulaski, VA; brother, Guy Marshall of Max Meadows, VA; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Uriah Turpin and two sons, Guy Turpin and Garry Joe Turpin; three brothers, Jesse Marshall, Everette Marshall, and Will Marshall. Always with a ready smile and a great sense of humor, she rarely complained even though you knew at times her heart was breaking. Funeral service was held on Sunday, October 24, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ralph Duncan officiating. Interment followed in the Duncan Chapel Cemetery. We were sorry to hear of your loss. Remember that times may have been hard and difficult growing up, but that is what made all of Geneva children the caring adults that they are today. The children that I know she was proud of because I think all of you turned out to be wonderful people.
“I heard a voice from heaven, saying unto me, Write, From henceforth blessed are the dead who die in the Lord; even so saith the Spirit: for they rest from theirs labors.

Our prayers are with you.
