Henry Croy Obituary

Croy Henry Franklin Croy Jr., 66, died Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tenn. He was born in Smyth County and was preceded in death by his father, Henry Franklin Croy Sr. He was retired from Vaughn Basset Furniture with 30 years of service. Survivors include his mother, Jean Croy of Atkins; four daughters, Gay Crigger and husband, J.L., of Cocoa, Fla., Missy Shupe and husband, Roger, of Chilhowie, Michelle Anders of Marion and Crystal Croy of Marion; three grandchildren, Brandi McMillan, Brooke Shupe, and Dalton Anders; and special friend, Tammy Croy of Marion. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 16, at Bradley's Funeral Home in Marion with Pastor Steve Hutton officiating. Interment followed in Overbay Cemetery. The family received friends Thursday from 7 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.bradleysfh.com. Bradley's Funeral Home of Marion was in charge of arrangements.
