Lona Justice

Lona P. Justice Lona Lee Porter Justice, 87, of Wytheville died peacefully Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at her home surrounded by friends. A graveside service was held Thursday, July 15, at 4 p.m. at the Woodlawn Mausoleum in Bluewell, W.Va., with the Rev. Gus Anderson officiating. She was a member of the Beckley United Methodist Temple. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Myrtle Bradley Porter. Survivors include her husband, Clarence Justice of Wytheville; two daughters and a son-in-law, Linda Kay Justice of Wytheville, Lona Marie Justice Haymaker and John of Washington, D.C.; a son and daughter-in-law, Clarence Justice Jr. and Barbara of War W.Va.; two grandchildren, Brian David Aldsworth of Hendersonville, Tenn., and Melanie A. Justice of Princeton, W.Va.; three great-grandchildren, Danika Webb and Brennon Justice, both of Princeton, W.Va., and Justice Grace Murch of Hendersonville, Tenn.; and special family friend, Joyce Samples. Memorial donations may be made to War United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 582, War, WV 24892. Grubb Funeral Home in Wytheville was in charge of the arrangements.
