Maggie C. Wyatt Maggie Josephine Cregger Peak Wyatt, 90, of Max Meadows died Thursday, May 26, 2011. Funeral service was held Tuesday, May 31, at 11 a.m. at the Barnett Funeral Chapel with the Revs. David Wheeler and Randy Morris officiating. Interment was in the Sanders Cemetery. She was born Feb. 10, 1921, in Wythe County, daughter of the late Samuel and Pearl Aker Cregger. She was a member of Anchor of Hope Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, George Peak; her second husband, Herman Wyatt; a son, James L. Peak; seven brothers and three sisters. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Pearl Mabe and Richard of Max Meadows; a brother, Samuel "Bud" Cregger of Max Meadows; six grandchildren, Michael Peak, Tracy Ayers, David Peak, Selena Hillenberg, Leroy Mabe and Mendy Elvetici; 10 great-grandchildren, Michael Peak Jr., Brandi Hackler, Kayla Tadlock, Olivia Elvetici, Tanner Elvetici, Madison Hillenberg, Luke Hillenberg, Abigail Hillenberg, Logan Mabe and Garrie Ayers; and two great-great-grandchildren, Cory King and Levi Hackler. Barnett Funeral Home in Wytheville was in charge of the arrangements.

So sorry I missed this.
Praying you will find comfort and peace and be blessed with many good memories.
I cherish the memories made by talking to "Pearl's momma" (as I called her), at yard sales and flea markets.
