Rhea Ronald (Big Joe) G. Rhea, 66, died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2010, at his home in Saltville. He was a member of Buckeye Hollow Church. Survivors include his wife, Mary; two daughters, Anita, and husband, Rick, and Elizabeth and husband, Michael; two sons, Eugene and Dallas; ten grandchildren, BJ, Daphne, Chris, Ricky Jr., Ashley, Dustin, McKinley, Matt, Andrew and Emily; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Donald; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, Oct. 21, at 7:30 p.m. in the Henderson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wade Kestner and Buster Hayden officiating. The family received friends from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Thursday evening prior to the services. Graveside services were conducted on Friday, Oct. 22, at 11 a.m. at Forest Hills Cemetery in Abingdon. Online condolences may be made at drhendersonfuneralhome.com D.R. Henderson Funeral Home in Saltville is in charge of arrangements.

Mary, We were so sorry to hear about your husband. We saw it in the paper today. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you. You have been so good to us and was such a good friend to Mommy. We love you.
