Sarah Elizabeth Estep Mullins Sarah Elizabeth Estep Mullins, age 82, of Richlands, VA, passed away Thurs., Nov. 11, 2010 at the home of her daughter in Raven, VA. She was born in Ira, VA, and was the daughter of the late Reastus Henry and Phoeba Jane Griffey Estep. She had made her home in the Richlands area since 1948 and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Mullins; three sisters, Oma Browning, Eunice Lewis, and Josie Lynn Estep; and one brother, Mack Estep. Survivors are: One daughter: Elizabeth Dye and husband, Jackie, of Raven, VA; two sons: Henry Mullins and wife, Marsha, of Martinsville, VA, Leonard "Jody" Mullins and wife, Karen, of Richlands, VA; Her Little Black Dog; life long friend: Vernie Owens; ten grandchildren: Chrissy Johnson and Steve; Jenni Proffitt and Andrew; Trish Mullins and Andy; Molly Arrington and Chris; Becky Jessee and Randall; Jackie Dye and Tonya; Leonard Mullins and Myra; Rusty Mullins and Heather; Tony Linkous and Rachel; Tory Linkous and Amy; great grandchildren: Cody Hawks and Regina; Cera Hawks, Matthew Dye; Summer Mitchell, Briana Mullins, Joshua Proffitt, Caleb Johnson, Jeremy Dye, Alisha Combs, Brenden Rakes, Adin Linkous, Alijah "Little Fred" Proffitt, CJ Mullins, Taylor Arrington, Joseph Mullins, Tori Linkous, Katie Arrington, Nevaeh Jessee, Layla Mullins, Kaylie Jessee, Tommy Mullins, and Gage Linkous; step great grandchildren: Abby Asbury, Malcom Fernandez, and Mark Fernandez; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends, relatives and loved ones also survive. Funeral services for Sarah Elizabeth Estep Mullins were conducted Sun., Nov. 14, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, VA, with the Rev. Dannie Short officiating. Interment followed at the Jones Family Cemetery in Feds Creek, KY. Pallbearers were: Jackie Dye, II, Leonard Mullins, II, Rusty Mullins, Cody Hawks, Andrew Proffitt, and Matthew Dye.
