Imogene Cochran Obituary

NEW CARLISLE — Imogene Cochran, age 88, of New Carlisle died on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at home surrounded by her family. She was born the daughter of Willie & Gracie (McCarty) Van Hoose on October 10, 1926 in Paintsville, Kentucky. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Doug, daughter Barbara Conley, brothers Homer and Marshall Van Hoose, sisters Hazel Reed, Olive Colvin, and Opal Blanton, and 2 infant siblings. Imogene is survived by her loving children, Pamela Collins, Bronna (James) Koontz, and Timothy (Teresa) Cochran all of New Carlisle, a sister Ola Fyffe of Red Bush, Kentucky, 9 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Imogene was a long time member of the Miami Valley United Baptist Church. Imogene was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She will be missed by all who love her. Friends may call on Monday, May 18, 2015 from 5PM – 7PM at Burcham Jennings Funeral Home, 119 E. Main St. Fairborn, Ohio. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 10AM at the Miami Valley United Baptist Church, Hyde Rd. Fairborn, Ohio. Online condolences may be left at www.BurchamJennings.com.
