Ruth E. Kohr

HESPERIA, CA Ruth E. Kohr, 91, formerly of York, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at the home of her daughter, Shirley Zupa, after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Russell W. (Zip) Kohr who died in 1984. She is survived by son, Russell W. Kohr, Jr., and daughter, Shirley Kohr Zupa both of Hesperia, Calif.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; two sisters, Eileen Keller and family and Thelma Kramer and family, all of York; two sisters-in-law, Berler Kohr and family and Kathy Kohr and family of Red Lion; and brother-in-law, Paul Kohr and family of Pahokee, Fla. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Sadie Kramer; three grandchildren; four brothers; and a sister. Interment will be in Rose Hills Cemetery in California.
