I first met Jim in the Summer of 1968, our families had just moved into the same neighborhood and in fact we were next door neighbors. We had many adventures over the years growing up in that neighborhood. Riding our bikes, playing football, exploring the woods. Though we grew apart and I had not seen Jim in many years, I remember him as a good guy, always a smile and a great sense of humor. My condolences to his family.

Mr. Knaub will be missed by the entire Phoenixville soccer community. He was always enthusiastic and supportive on the sidelines; and regardless of how busy he was, he allotted time to catch with my family and others afterwards. As my mom said, he always had something to contribute to a conversation, whether soccer, great places to camp, or updates on musicians that no one else recalled until he brought them up. So sad to lose him so early. You will be missed dearly, Mr. Knaub. Rest in peace.

Jim's voice for the profession of Radiology will be sorely missed. I will miss his intellect, insight, and great sense of humor. The good Lord is receiving a great man to be at his side to watch over us all.
May he find peace and all the happiness in the life everlasting.

Just wanted to leave my thoughts about Jim. He was a true advocate for Radiology and an icon in the field. I had many interviews with him over the years and truly looked forward to seeing him at the RSNA and AHRA. He was a true gentleman and a great journalist. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Jim was a great friend. I worked with him a number of times on RT projects. He dutifully attended the RSNA Roundtable all 5 years and we looked forward to him this year at the 6th. What a great guy: always an advocate for "good radiology." We will all miss his approach, sensibility, and sense of humor. RIP my friend.

I knew Jim through business and he was one of the few people that treated you with integrity and respect. It's a loss for all of us.

I didn't see Jim much after high school but we reconnected a few years ago by chance. He was still a warm, friendly, funny and generous man. Exactly how I remembered him when we were kids.
All good memories. Jud Spangler, Central York class of '81.

My sincere and heartfelt condolences are extended to Sam & Cecilia, and the entire family. Jim was a great and honest man, and good friend. I started working with Jim at Great Valley Publishing in 2005. Working on the same publication, he immediately made me feel welcome and part of the team. Jim's humor brought such joy to the office. Over the years, we attended numerous trade shows and business meetings together. It is almost impossible to imagine these trips without his humor and friendship. He will be missed by so many.
