Nadine Klein Obituary

YORK Nadine E. (Collins) Klein, 82, of Conewago Twp., died at 9:23 p.m. Thursday, June 13, 2013, at her home with her family at her side. She was the wife of Robert G. Klein, Sr. with whom she celebrated a 64th wedding anniversary on November 20, 2012. Following cremation, a service to celebrate Mrs. Klein's life will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, July 1, 2013, at Mt. Washington United Brethren Church, 710 Copenhaffer Rd., York with Pastor Gordon "Skip" Bowen officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the church. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, York, is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Klein was born in Littlestown on July 16, 1930. She was a 1948 graduate of Delone Catholic High School. An avid camper, she was a member of the Carroll Wagons, Harbold's and Sun Downers camping clubs and was also a member of the Mt. Washington United Brethren Church. She was a devoted homemaker and enjoyed sewing, having sewn many of her children's clothes when they were young. In her youth, she enjoyed roller skating and in fact was how she met her husband. In addition to her husband, she leaves two sons, Robert G. Klein, Jr. and wife, Becky of Gardners, and James E. "Shorty" Klein and wife, Stacy of Hanover; three daughters, Priscilla A. Scheivert and husband, Dennis of West York, Nancy E. Sipe and husband, Kenney of East York, and Carol L. Klein-Blevins of Jacobus; seven grandchildren, Brandon Burchett and wife, Savannah, Danielle Wentz and husband, Damion, Rosalie Burchett, Victoria Klein, Kaitlyn Sipe, and Pierce and Serenity Blevins; three great grandchildren, Collin, Destiny and Rylei; a brother, Eugene B. Collins of Littlestown; two sisters, Patricia A. Gantz of Littlestown and Suzanne F. Weaver of Leesburg, Va.; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and step father, Lloyd and Helen C. (Collins) Weaver. Memorial contributions may be made to Mt.
