I just learned of the Bill's passing today. I am very sorry for your loss. I worked briefly for Bill in 1997 - 1998 at Keystone Financial. He was a great man - very kind and helpful to me and many others. I moved on to other employment, but always thought very highly of him. He will be missed, but leaves a great legacy of family and friends. May God comfort you all in your loss.

Aunt Lynn,
Lillie and I reach out to you in love and comfort, for your loss. His absence is felt strongly, even these many miles away. It originates and ends in copious amounts of love and caring---the caring of husband to wife, brother to brother (he and Lee), sibling to sibling, family to family (immediate and extended, and even adopted), community to community. This is just how immense a loving, caring personality he had, and Still Has---as shown in the actions of his family and friends with whom he shared himself.

If you knew Uncle Bill, you knew a great man. Everyone in our family had a special relationship with him, and found out that he never forgot details about why it was so special. He had a great knack for remembering---and for mentoring!

In December 2013, you and Bill came to see me perform in a Christmas musical, One Bethlehem Night. For precious reasons, Mom and Dad were unable to come, but you two did attend---and I was SO thrilled to see you and him in the audience! I had to give it my all, Had to sing my heart out. Why?

Because Uncle Bill and Aunt Lynn were here, alongside Lillie. Seeing the three of you smile made me realize why our families became so close, with no "blood ties"---it's what Jesus would do, and did do!

I am honored to have known him; I feel the essence of real love, being able to call him Uncle; and can truly say I am a better man, from having loved, served, worshiped, and prayed by his side. Our lives were enriched and empowered; now it's our turn to do the same.

I love you, Uncle Bill. Rejoice in your new life with Jesus, kind sir!
