McNair Family - I just found out today about Jimmy passing and wanted to say how sorry I am to hear this. Jimmy was such a sweet guy. He taught me how to drive a stick shift down in Fairfax. I lived in Yuma w/ my sister in '09 and '10 but never had the chance to meet up w/ Jimmy. Although he did stop in and see my sister at Country Roads, where she worked once. She told me when they were all kids he would take them to suicide hill and turn out the lights and speed down the hill! Oh my - that guy - my Mom would have chocked him had she known that. Sending prayers to your family - I am sure he is so very missed.

Bonnie and family, I am deeply sorrowed that Jim has been called home so soon. He was so kind and considerate. It has been awhile since our last encounter during your move, and the occasional FB contact. If you ever want to reach out and talk, I am here for you. You are in my prayers. God Bless, Jeanine

To Bonnie and family: My family and I know the Lord will be there for you during this difficult time. Jim was one of the first people who made me feel welcome when I moved into "our" neighborhood back in 1973. We grew up together and he helped me get a job at the KC Star when I really needed it. Jim will ALWAYS be with us as we remember him, talk about him, and think about the times we shared. To brother Bill: Let me know if there is ANYTHING I can do for you at this or ANY time. God be with you all.

McNair family - I am truly sorry for your loss. I remember Jim from his days in scouting in Kansas City, even then a generous person always willing to help others. My deepest sympathies.
