Nancy Divers Obituary
ZANESVILLE: Nancy J. McConnell Wickham Divers, 68, of Zanesville, went to be with the Lord Sunday, January 2, 2011 at her residence, after a short battle with cancer, with her family by her side.
Nancy was born and raised in Roseville, OH, on October 5, 1942, a daughter of the late Lemmert McConnell and Dorothy "Emma" McCabe. She worked for years for Akro Carpet. She enjoyed her cats and dog, gardening, cooking and being a homemaker. She was a Christian by Faith.
Surviving are three daughters, Sandy (Randy) Talbert, Tammy Willey (Dan Johnson) and Pam Wickham Carroll, and a son, Jason (Chasity) McConnell, all of Zanesville; eight grandchildren, Chad (Sue) Tetak, Matt (Bridget) Tetak and Bruce (McKenzie) Tetak, all of Zanesville, Stephan Willey of Columbus, OH, Ryan (Shasta) Willey, Katrina (Daniel) Willey, Bradley Carroll and Brooke McConnell, all of Zanesville; and two great grandchildren, Paige and Erica Tetak, both of Zanesville; a sister, Rossetta Morosko of Zanesville; and two brothers, Gary (Patricia) McConnell and Greg (Doris) McConnell, both of Roseville.
In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald B. Divers, who died November 21, 1991; and her loving pet dog, Suzie.
Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 6, 2011 at the funeral home. Nancy will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
