Shirley Lucille (Ratliff) Shaffer

NEW LEXINGTON: Shirley Lucille (Ratliff) Shaffer, passed away peacefully Friday morning, February 13, 2015, surrounded by her loving family, to go be with her loving Lord and Savior.

She was born July 19, 1939 in Perry County, the daughter of the late Donald and Mandy Davisson Munyan.

Shirley was one of the proud owners of Pinky's Restaurant in New Lexington.

She is survived by her three children, Doris Stemen, Becky Goodin and Mark all of New Lexington, and Daniel and Wanda Ratliff of Apison, TN

sisters and brothers, Judith Rose of Crooksville, Linda LeRoy (Howdy), Laura Mae Butcher, Joe and Kay Munyan, Eddie and Roxanne Munyan all of New Lexington and Helen and Roger Goodin of Somerset; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her loving husbands, Forrest Lee Ratliff and Oscar J. Shaffer.

Calling hours will be held Sunday, February 15, 2015 from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the Chute-Wiley Funeral Home, 118 S Jackson St., New Lexington.

Funeral services will be held Monday, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with The Rev. Jim Grant officiating. Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery.
