Raymond Moreno Obituary

Moreno, Raymond D., was born on December 24, 1935 and passed on March 17, 2008. Raymond is survived by Margaret his loving wife of 45 years; his children Raymond, Edward, Linda and Robert; his sisters, Pilar Santana and Juanita Updegraff and brother, Fernando Moreno, and his four grandchildren. Ray was a caring husband, father, grandfather and friend. He had the privilege of serving as one of St. Joseph Church's first Extraordinary Ministers of the Holy Eucharist. He also had the honor of serving this great country during the Korean War. Ray earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Long Beach State College in 1958 and worked as an accountant for Alpha Beta stores for nearly 40 years. He enjoyed driving his family on weekend outings, riding motorcycles in the desert, coaching youth soccer and riding his bicycle to the beach. The viewing and rosary will be held at McAulay & Wallace Mortuaries in Fullerton on March 25th from 4 to 8 pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church in Placentia on March 26th at 10 am. The burial will be held at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Orange. McAulay & Wallace Mortuary
