Linda Boyes Obituary

Boyes, Linda Anne 1943-2007 To know her was to love her. Linda, beloved wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend passed peacefully into the arms of her Heavenly Father after a courageous battle with cancer on May 31, 2007. She was born on March 4, 1943 in Fullerton, CA to Richard and Margaret Livingston, who both survive her. Her family included three younger brothers, Bruce, Kent, and Jim, who also survive her. She married her eternal companion of 45 years, Edwin Boyes, on Dec. 10, 1961. They are blessed with six children, Mark (Leanne), Michael (Valerie), Steve (Rosane), Chris, Memory Aviles (Jeff), and Katie Rock (Shane). Linda was a loving and sweet grandmother to 16 grandchildren who all loved and adored her. Ed and Linda have lived in both Fullerton and Corona and have made many wonderful friends there. Linda was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had an unwavering testimony of her Savior Jesus Christ and was a living example of Him through her selfless service to others. Her countenance reflected the pure love of Christ. She truly lived the Gospel and will be greatly missed. Please join us for a celebration of her life on Monday, June 4, 2007 at 11:00 a.m., with a viewing, prior, from 9:00-10:45 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 801 N Raymond Ave., Fullerton, CA 92831. Dear Boyes Family,

We are so sorry for the loss of your precious mother/grandmother. It's so hard to lose someone you love and though words can't take away the sadness you feel, we want you to know we care deeply about you all.

Although we never met her, Val has said so many things that show what a strong, brave woman she was. She was sure blessed with a family who loved her so much.

Next time you are star gazing, consider this sweet thought - perhaps they really are not stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.

We are here for you, Boyes Family.

Love, The Zedikers

Dear Sister Boyes,
We wish we had known you on earth. You are surely loved by Michael and Valerie and such love usually doesn't come unmerited. From your obituary we can see that you accomplished everything that was important on earth, including endurance to the end.
If you get the chance, look up our darling son, Talmage, who left us in April. Tell him how much we miss him. But we, just as your famly must be, are grateful that earthly suffering is over.
Enjoy the rewards of a life well-lived!
Love, Lynda and Randall Turner
