John David Copeland

Graveside services for John David Copeland, 70, of Palestine will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Roselawn Park with the Rev. Scott Dornbush officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey and Foster Funeral Home, Palestine.Mr. Copeland died Monday at Palestine Regional Medical Center. Mr. Copeland was a resident of Cartmell Home for Aged. He was born Sept. 17, 1937 in Palestine to Albert Allen and Lockey Marr Copeland. He was an office clerk for the motel business. He was a member of the Grace Methodist Church and a longtime member of the Masonic Lodge. Mr. Copeland was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers, Edward Copeland, Harold Copeland, and James Copeland. Mr. Copeland is survived by his sister, Eleanor Browder of Huntsville; and three brothers, Gene Copeland of Kansas, Bill Copeland of Palestine and George Copeland of Winnona.Condolence calls will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today at Bailey and Foster Funeral Home, Palestine.
