I started going to church at Harvest when it was at Silver screen. I remember the first time when I heard Will and the awesome praise music at Harvest. I bought Will's CD and played it over and over. His music filled my home with praise through some of the trying times in my life. I recently heard from a friend that attends Harvest about Will's passing since I've moved away. Will was a great musician and singer. God is so amazing beyond belief and now Will is right there with him. To grasp the picture of that is so amazing...

I didn't know you, Will, but was touched by a short YouTube video of you worshipping our Shepherd...Faith Wilson introduced me to you in a way while you were beginning your journey across the threshold of heaven and I look forward to worshipping in heaven with you one day.

Will-- It sounds trite but our loss is truly heaven's gain. I know that our worship services at FOB/NTF were just a down payment on what you're experiencing now. Makes me even more anxious to "go home".

Will, I don't know if you can read this in Heaven, but I love you and will miss you until I come to meet you there. You are already there in my heart so I don't think of you in the past tense at all. You are alive- more alive than any of us here. Thank you for who you are and for giving of your life while here with us.

Most count on their children to be their legacy. It sounds as though Wills' music is just that. It is amazing how friends' and family and others who never knew him can be impacted by his voice and songs he wrote in Love of Jesus. Now you are singing to the Lord face to face! You have a wonderful family here on earth Will. You will be extremely missed by them all!

Will, Thank you so much for ministering to me during our telecom days and even more through your worship when I started attending Harvest. You were a "MIGHTY MAN OF GOD" and it showed in your personal life as well as your ministry. Your music and ministry are beyond compare and both will continue to bless people for years to come. You taught me that there was so much more to leading worship than just standing up on stage and singing a song. It was an honor being your friend and I will miss you very much.

Will, I'm sad because I never knew you - instead I've had the deep blessings of knowing your sister and brother in law who have been incredibly true friends to me and my daughter over these past couple of years. I've had a yearning to know you from reading all that others have written about you...and to you - people who obviously love you deeply...people whose lives you touched in significant and dramatic ways...but I know I will have to wait until I meet you in Heaven. I look forward to that day and in the meantime, will satisfy myself with knowing you vicariously through those you left behind. To David, Tandy, Summer, Caleb and the rest of the family - I can see you were blessed with a loved one who ran his race with incredible grace...and finished victoriously. He is singing worshipful songs of victory - I only wish he could record them for the rest of us to hear! But, I know we will someday....David & Tandy, we love you guys, come home soon, we miss you.

Will,
You were truly a blessing to all that knew you. Words can never express the impact you have made, or the legacy you leave behind. I will miss that sharp wit and bone dry humor. Look forward to seeing you again my friend.

Thanks so much for your friendship and all that you have done for my family. Thank you for taking Tommy under your wing and mentoring him. I loved you just as if you were another one of my brothers. Thanks for always remaining true to your self and God being a witness everywhere you went. You always said so much without having to say a word. Thanks for all the memories and fun times. Will, thank you for blessing my life. I shall never forget your gifts of music and your zeal for Jesus. And, of course, the Daryl Evans concert in Mobile! You touched so many lives and I'm honored to have known you for a season. You are missed. You are loved. And now you really are dancing and signing with the best Teacher ever! My prayers for your family - all of them.

Sir William,
Where to begin? Thank you for being a friend to Brian for all those years...I love hearing of adventures that you two took together. I won't soon forget New Year's Eve 2005 when you hosted a gathering at your house-- that's the night that I met you, Michelle, Amanda, Leah and others.
Backpacking the AT with you was a blast. Thanks for my trail name. We still need one for you, though...seriously.
I value and appreciate your willingness to lead people before the throne of God. You had a way of making much of Christ that is rare in worship leaders these days.
Thanks for your friendship. Brian and I miss you very much already; however, we're so thrilled for you-- You're making much of Him in a way that we have yet to experience.

I have avoided writing anything to you because it makes it feel so final to me. I still cant believe you're gone. I already miss you dearly and look forward to the day I will get to see you again. I am jealous of heaven...they have you worshiping with them now. I know you are having an amazing time, and you are with our King! That brings delight to my heart. Thank you for being such an amazing friend to Zach and me. Thank you for being you. Thank you for writing the amazing songs you did write, for sharing them with all of us, and for letting us share them with others here in New Orleans. Our church's favorite is "23." You have no idea how much of a blessing you and your songs were and are to Zach and me and so many others. I thank Jesus for the time we did have with you. I love you Will.

Will touched so many lives in a deep, profound way through his love of Jesus and his passion for music. The Kingdom has been made a better place because of his worship leader’s heart, and now Will is standing with his Creator and his heart’s desire. Thank You Lord for blessing us with Will and his gifts. May his legacy prove to be a bigger blessing back to You.

Buddy, I miss you so much! I know that you are at the feet of Jesus doing what you did best - praising Him. I am so jealous of all the angels. I will hold onto all the lessons that you taught me even through just seeing who you were.
Love you, buddy!

Will,
There have been an army of saints praying for you. A group of them from my school came together when they found out you had left us. We thanked God for you, lifted Harvest up and did something that would be strangely familiar to you... we watched a comedy and made our own jokes about the story.

You will forever be in our hearts and in our minds. You have no idea what a void you are leaving here. No one can fill those shoes that you so faithfully walked in. We know you are singing amazing, new songs to your Father and we long for the day that we can see you again. We'll keep your songs in our hearts...
