Anthony Russo Obituary
Anthony J. Russo Jr. SUFFOLK - Anthony Joseph Russo Jr., 71, died Aug. 6, 2008, at his home. Born in Suffolk, he was the son of the late Thelma Elizabeth H. Russo Brewer and the late Anthony Joseph Russo Sr. He was a graduate of Suffolk High School and attended Virginia Tech and Princeton University before going to work for Rand Corp. He later was employed by the Los Angeles County Probation Department. Anthony was the driving force in the publicizing of the Pentagon Papers. Survivors include his cousins, Penny Pfeil of Suffolk and Wayne Holland of Suffolk. A memorial service will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. in St. Mary's of the Presentation Catholic Church by Father Piotr Bialkowski. R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home & Crematory is serving the family.
