Daniel Dale Obituary
Daniel Dale CHESAPEAKE - Daniel Dale, 85, passed away Aug. 12, 2008, in a local hospital. He was a native of Kentucky and was a son of the late Greene and Nannie Dale. He was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Ruby Dale; three sisters and one brother. Survivors include his son, David Dale and wife Barbette of Chesapeake; a sister, Janice McCormick; a brother, Frank Dale and wife Dot; two grandchildren, Shawna Dale and Wes Slade and wife Devon; and three great-grandchildren, Kailey, Adara and Olivia. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Ken Rice. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m. www.SturtevantFuneralHome.com.
