Rosa Peoples Obituary


Rosa L. Peoples CHESAPEAKE - Rosa L. Peoples, 78, of the 100 block of Dordon St., died Aug. 12, 2008, at home. Born in Franklin, she was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, Pughsville, Suffolk. Surviving are her husband, Norman Peoples; three daughters, Carolyn Wilson, Barbara Benson (Albert) and Theresa Warren (Timothy); four sons, Norman Peoples, Robert Peoples, the Rev. Steven Peoples (Denise) and Allen Peoples (Mary); a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, in-laws, other relatives and friends. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in New Hope Baptist Church, Pughsville, Suffolk, by Dr. William Russell. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, Suffolk. There will be no public viewing. The family will be at the residence. The body will be in church Saturday at 10 a.m. Fisher Funeral Home, 1520 Effingham St., Portsmouth, is in charge. www.fisherfuneral.com.
