Cynthia - I was very saddened by the news of Kilo's passing. He was a true friend - and a shipmate with character, honor, and a great sense of humor. He was committed to making Naval aviation better for all the young pilots out in harm's way.

We met years ago here in DC when I was at NAVAIRSYSCOM in Crystal City and he was at the pentagon. We worked on similar programs. Both of us being naval aviators, we naturally began to tell war stories, etc. And, although his name sounded familiar, imagine my surprise when we realized we both were from Racine, and his sister Diane and I were in the same high school class! (WPHS '63).

He's been a tremendous help to me over the years...and I will miss him. Our prayers are with you and your family.
