Annie Harrison Obituary


Annie P. Harrison CHESAPEAKE - Annie P. Harrison, 80, passed away peacefully Aug. 14, 2008, while residing at Dominion Village. She was the devoted wife of E. Trigg Harrison, deceased, first postmaster of Chesapeake, and the mother to three daughters. Anne was predeceased by her husband, Trigg Harrison; her parents, Milton and Mary Dean; brothers, Frank and George Dean; and sister, Ruby Bates. She is survived by her sister, Kay Clawson of Ammon, Idaho. Her life is still being celebrated by her daughters, Anna Kent of Chesapeake, Patricia Lowe Thompson and husband Mark of Collosse and Mary Harrison-Jones with Steve Lassiter of Gloucester Point; and grandchildren, Wayne Kent and wife Carol of Roanoke, Jonathan Kent of Virginia Beach, Allison Phelps and husband Billy of Chesapeake, Chris Lowe and wife Connie of Newport News, and James Thompson and wife Renee of Nags Head, N.C. She enjoyed her four great-grandchildren, Kiri and Bradley Phelps, Chloe Kent, Austin Thompson and her granddog, Sugar Girl. She also knew of and anticipated the birth of the Lowe twins. A celebration of her life will be held today at 2 p.m. in Deep Creek United Methodist Church, 141 N. George Washington Hwy., Chesapeake. The family invites you to come and share in this time of reflection. A reception will follow.
