John Cragg Obituary


John Banks Cragg FORT WORTH, Texas - John Banks Cragg, 84, passed away Aug. 12, 2008, in Fort Worth. John was born Dec. 6, 1923, in Prestwich, Scotland, to John and Elizabeth Cragg. He was a tool and die maker by trade and worked as an aircraft mechanic for the Royal Air Force in England during World War II. He loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his sister, Daphne in 1994 and son, Michael Anthony Cragg in November of 2007. Survivors include wife, Wilma of Fort Worth; sister, Betty Rooney of Cheshire, England; sons, David Cragg and wife Jane of Georgia and Mark Cragg of California; daughter- in-law, Vonn Robinson-Cragg of Dallas; grandson, Ryan Cragg and wife Samantha of Georgia; granddaughters, Teressa Cragg and husband Sam and family of California, Pamela Hilligas and husband Dean and family of Oregon; also many friends. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday in Mount Olivet Chapel, Fort Worth, Texas. Interment in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to American Diabetes Association and the Masons of Fort Worth.
