Odessia Riddick Obituary
Odessia D. Riddick VIRGINIA BEACH - Odessia D. Riddick, 83, of the 1300 block of White Birch Lane, passed away Aug. 13, 2008, at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital. She was born Oct. 2, 1923, to the late L. Drayton and Hallie Cooper Drayton in Florence, S.C. She was predeceased by her husband, Jacob Riddick; a sister, Dorothy Hicks; two brothers, Boosie Drayton and Leon Richardson. She leaves to cherish her memory a sister-in-law, Carolyn Stewart and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Metropolitan Funeral Service, 120 W. Berkley Ave. Elder Willie Felton will officiate. Interment will be at Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Family and friends will assemble at 1325 White Birch Lane one hour prior to service for procession to the chapel.
