Patricia Dyke Lilley GATESVILLE - Patricia Dyke Lilley, 71, of the 400 block of Lilley Lane, died Aug. 18, 2008, in her home. Mrs. Lilley was born in Washington, D.C., and was the daughter of the late Edward Joseph and Elsie White Dyke. A registered nurse, she was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Edenton, the Gatesville Senior Citizens Club and volunteered with the Gates County Meals on Wheels program and the Gates Emergency Ministries. Among her survivors are her husband, Glen N. Lilley Jr.; her daughter and caregiver, Tracey; granddaughters, Brianne and Brittany; great-granddaughter, Alexia; sister, Deanne; brother, Joe; stepdaughter, Jennifer; stepson, Doug and wife Martha; and several nieces and nephews. Additionally surviving are two other daughters, three sons, seven other grandchildren and three other great-grandchildren. A private service was held Wednesday in Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main St., Gatesville, by Father Douglas P. Reed. Recognizing the wonderful care provided by their organization, the family asks that flowers be omitted and contributions in Pat's memory be made to University Hospice, P.O. Box 272, Ahoskie, NC 27910. Friends may join the family at the residence on Lilley Lane.
