Eugene Mitchell Obituary
Eugene W. Mitchell NORFOLK - Eugene Wesley "HogHead" Mitchell, 67, of the 3200 block of Kennebeck Circle, departed this life Aug. 19, 2008, in Sentara Leigh Hospital. He was predeceased by his parents, Allen and Esther Mitchell; his sister, Edith Harris; and his brother, Allen Mitchell. Eugene was a native of Norfolk and attended Norfolk Public Schools. He was a retired Longshoreman Local 1248 with more than 30 years of service. Eugene leaves in God's loving care his wife, Beverly of Norfolk; son, Eugene Williams of Norfolk; two daughters, Dorothy Williams of Chesapeake and Kimberly Faulk (Tony) of Norfolk; and two sisters, Myrtle Jenkins of Hertford, N.C., and Anne Olds (Thomas) of Norfolk. A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Enoch Baptist Church, 5641 Herbert Moore Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23462. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive guests in the 3400 block of Kennebeck Circle, Norfolk. Graves Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. www.gravesfuneralhomeinc.com.
