My condolences to the Corprew Family and the Associates of Corprew Funeral Home. I was saddened to have heard of the news of such a kind, gentile and caring person. He was truly a servant of the Almighty God and he truly exemplified the positive qualities of a people person. His professional service after the demise of some of my family members and his expertise of service with my religious affiliation has been exceptional and impeccable. Kudos to the crew that worked with him. He was very close to my religious organization and we were thankful to have had the privilege of his acquaintence. (Member of Temple Beth-El)

Mr. Corprew was a lifelong friend of my late husband, Elmer Brown, Jr. I first met him in 1976 upon the death of my father-in-law, Mr. Elmer Brown, Sr. I would not meet him again until the death of my own sweet husband, Elmer Brown, Jr., last year and then again five weeks later upon the death of my mother-in-law, Mrs. Annie Brown. On each of these solemn and sad occasions, Mr. Corprew was the utmost gentleman, professional and caring. My condolences and those of my family go out to the Corprew family. He will be missed.

Tip Corprew was an icon in his time. He was a display of God's unique profitable "servants" in the earth. Tip's service as a politician (City Councilman), a business person, leader, father and husband can not be measured in words. There will be a great void in the lives of all who experienced, knowing him. He is truly loved! Romans 8:38-39 Nothing can separate us from the LOVE of God, we have in Christ Jesus!!!!!!!!!!!

To the Corprew Family
May God comfort your hearts and bless you during this time of sadness.
Mr. Corprew was a very kind man and was impressive as a businessman who served the community well. May Corprew Funeral Home continue in this spirit of generosity and compassion.
There is an incident that I would like to share that left a great impression on me regarding Tip Corprew. A dear friend of mine had an aunt who died without any insurance and she was very poor. The social services department provided some assistance but as you may know it was not enough to meet all of the expenses. Nevertheless, Tip provided some of the services needed free of charge and he conducted this less fortunate woman's funeral with great dignity and class. He treated her and the needs of this family as if he were serving a more prominent individual and this was of great comfort to that family. His service was wonderul and his patience and caring were unmistakable. That is what I believe Tip was all about - service and compassion during a family's most trying hour, and this will never be forgotten.
Much love and prayers for this family and for Corprew Funeral Home.

Remember
Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you plann'd:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.
