Michael Kelly Obituary


Michael Scott Kelly VIRGINIA BEACH - Michael Scott Kelly, 48, passed away Aug. 25, 2008. He was a 1977 graduate of Kempsville High School and will be remembered for having a love for NASCAR, gardening, cooking and the ocean, where he enjoyed boating and scuba diving. Michael leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Beverly Kelly; father, Paul Kelly; three brothers, Paul Kelly Jr. of Georgia, Kevin Kelly of Virginia Beach, Shawn Kelly and wife Georganna of Virginia Beach; and six nephews. A celebration of life will be held at noon Saturday in Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd., with the Rev. Sandy Alberson officiating. A reception will follow in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Project Comfort of First Baptist Church Norfolk, 312 Kempsville Road, Norfolk, VA 23502. A guestbook and online condolences can be signed for Michael at www.woodlawngroup.com.
