Mr. Galloway,
I had the great opportunity of meeting this wonderful man and father. He brought me into the church and helped me become a better person. I loved him like he was my own father, and he showed me the same love back. I will always remember going to church and seeing him singing with the biggest smile in the church. He was always happy and had more energy than anyone I ever knew. During the times in the hospital he explained some scriptures to Paul & I, and I remember sitting there listening to his every word. At one moment he said, "I know you are getting tired Renee, would you like me to stop?" I told him to keep going because it was like I couldn't get enough of Jesus. I truly believe that he implanted that desire in me, to enjoy more of the Lord and live for the Lord. He was a mighty inspiration in my life and I will always hold a special place in my heart for him. I love you Mr. Galloway and I miss you.
Love Always,
Renee Brite

To the Galloway Family,
I had the great honor to work at the same site as your loved one, Mr. Bill.
He would always come down to the receiving area at ILO and asked where the Steeler fan was...and then I would yell out "HOW ABOUT THOSE REDSKINS" He always was smiling and happy. He is now in God's house and watching over you.
My deepest sympathy to your family...May God Bless You,

Mrs. Galloway & Sons,

May you continue to look to God for solace and consolation. Always know that God is your source of strength; HE will see you through this period.

In the Heart Hospital at Sentara Norfolk General, we witness how Mr. Galloway fought a good fight and he kept the faith, never complaining about his sickness.

Mrs. Gallloway, you visit daily as a very devoted spouse who gave your husband the best care humanly possible. You became part of our family in the waiting room!

Continue to be blessed by God's Holy words. If you need us, you have my number.

Sincerely,
Marilyn D. Grant

Dr. Linda Galloway and the Galloway Family: I write this entry with mixed emotions. One because "Mr. G." will be greatly missed. He has always been kind hearted and a special friend. He would always ask me about my son and my mother (even though he has never met my mother). Secondly, I write with joy because I know to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord (II Cor 5:8).
To the Philadelphia Church #7 Family:
I know what you are going through being that My Bishop and Pastor went home to be with the Lord, November 15, 2007. Elder Galloway was there to comfort and encourage me, so I say to you, keep your hands in God's hand and you shall see your Pastor Galloway again.
May God continue to comfort your hearts. You all are in our prayers.

Dr. Linda Galloway & Family--
Bill was always a joy. I remember that once while I was visiting you all in your home, we all made a circle and Bill led us into a prayer. He has helped many people through his kindness and prayer and I'm grateful to one of those persons. You can go in peace with joy in your heart.
Love and Blessings to you all....

As a part of the ILO family, now transplanted to FL, I would like to say that Mr. Bill was a mighty man of God. I have no doubt that he is sitting in the presence of Jesus Christ being told how he was such a good and faithful servant. Even though it is difficult to say goodbye to loved ones, KNOW that he is resting well now. My prayers are with the entire family

To Bill's family- please accept my condolences during this difficult time. Bill inspired a lot of people, including me, to try to do a little better and treat people a little nicer each day. That's a legacy that never ends. God Bless you.

Mr Bill, I sat in my car this moring looking at the beautiful sunrise and knew that you were in Heaven chatting away with the Angels. The Pastor at my Church always says when someone passes and they were a Christian that they Graduated or were Promoted. I know you Graduated. Even though your friends and family will miss you very much they know that you aren't struggling anymore. You aren't in pain anymore. I will always cherish the talks we had and remember you as a very special and caring man. I will always be grateful that you attended my CPO pinning ceremony and were Chaplain at my retirement ceremony. You were a very special man and the Angels are lucky to have you with them. I know your family will lean on their faith and that will get them through. God Bless you Mr. Bill.
