Margaret Paquet

Margaret Ann Paquet VIRGINIA BEACH - Margaret "Marge" Paquet, widow of Paul Frances Paquet, passed away at her home in Virginia Beach. Marge was born in Portchester, N.Y., daughter of the late Mary Katherine McCabe and Henry Fastiggi. She was president and CEO of Leather Luster Inc. The international enterprise was founded by her late husband, Paul, the product's inventor. The Paquets made their home in New York, where Paul served as a New York state trooper. Following his retirement, they resided in Canon City, Colo. Marge later made her home in Virginia Beach. Marge traveled the world extensively, but still made time to enjoy the arts, painting and, most of all, her family and friends. Marge is survived by her loving daughter, Sharon (Robert) Foster of Virginia Beach; her sister, Mary Lou (Dr. Michael) Coren of Central Valley, N.Y.; stepdaughter, Debra Paquet of Delmar, N.Y.; and three grandchildren, Andrew and Dylan Foster of Virginia Beach and Kate DeMichele of Delmar, N.Y. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Thomas Alberico, Dr. Barbara Parks, Heartland Hospice and the nursing staff of Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital, for their unending care and support. The family will receive friends at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
