We are sorry to learn of George's passing. It was our pleasure to know him when he lived in Charleston, SC. We went to church together, enjoyed meals, conversation, laughs, trips with Senior Citizens from church, and worship. He was a fine gentleman.

Dear David and Laura,

a great peronality and a good friend has left us. George was the one person who brought me close to the great Nation of the US with its great people and its multiple facets. We shared hours of interesting discussions about the past, the present and the futurr. Your father was for my my foster father in the US and I appreciated very much what he did for his family and his professional work and especially for the LIOONS youth exchange programm. Mean while my children have spent an exchange in the US and they brought back a good understanding about the US its differences to our culture and thinkings and our common roots in our chrisitan culture. May good give George the eternal peace he has deserved after a life dedicated to others

Kind reagrds and my condolescence to you and all the good friends I still have in my heart from myself and my family.
