Francis Kane Obituary


Francis Kane CHESAPEAKE - Francis Kane, 51, of the 1700 block of Rowlock Road, departed this life Sept. 2, 2008. He was born in Miltown, N.J., to Dolores Kouba Kane and the late Donald R. Kane. Francis graduated high school and attended college for two years. He was a retired police officer with the City of Chesapeake where he served for 21 years. Francis also worked in management at the Cinemax Movie Theatre for about eight years. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Brenda Kane; daughters, Amanda and Rachael; and son, Matthew. Also left to cherish his memory are sisters, Linda Hipko (Martian) and Kathy Moore (Richard); brothers, Michael Kane (Kathy), Dennis Kane and Donald Kane, all of New Jersey. Viewing will be held today from 2 until 7 p.m. at J.T. Fisher Funeral Services, 1080 N. George Washington Highway, Chesapeake. A life celebration service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Condolences can be offered to the family at www.jtfisherfuneralservices.com.
