Joseph Bipere Obituary


Joseph Bipere NORFOLK - Joseph Bipere, 91, passed away Sept. 3, 2008. A native of Norfolk, he was a retired firefighter with the city of Norfolk and was also retired from Exxon Mobile. He belonged to the Retired Firefighters' Association. He is survived by his wife, Hazel Taylor Bipere; his son, Lloyd Bipere; three grandchildren; two brothers, John and Lawrence Bipere; sister, Camella Parker; and a stepson, James Rook. A graveside service will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Miles Memorial United Methodist Church. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
