Larry Farr Obituary
Larry D. Farr VIRGINIA BEACH - Larry Douglas Farr passed away peacefully Aug. 31, 2008. He was born in Newport News, Va. He is survived by his forever loving wife, Jeanette; daughter, Robin Michelle Farr and her fiance Fred Meyers; daughter, Heather Danielle Abril and husband Anthony Abril; grandchildren, Catilyn Farr and Noah Abril; his beloved sister and best friend, Cheryl Nadine Milliam and husband Micheal Milliam; his father, Earnest W. Farr II; sister, Gail Kosmos and her husband Steve; brother, Earnest W. Farr III; godson, Alexander Jordan Young; and a host of other relatives and friends. Larry had a wonderful smile that affected everyone he knew. For those fortunate enough to be close to him, "Every day was like the first day of summer." He was truly a unique person. He served his country with great pride. He was a positive influence on everyone he encountered. A visitation will be held today from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel. A guestbook may be signed and condolences may be sent to the family at www.hdoliver.com.
