Eva Holland Obituary
Eva Johnson Holland CARRSVILLE - Eva Johnson Holland, 92, of the 4100 block of Lelia Lane, died Sept. 1, 2008, in Courtland Health Care Center. She was born in Hertford County, North Carolina. She was predeceased by her husband, Jeston A. Holland Sr. and son, George C. Holland. She is survived by two daughters, Lucy H. (Lassiter) Cogdell of Chesapeake and Gloria H. Revell of Carrsville; and son, Jeston A. Holland Jr. of Portsmouth. A funeral will be held Saturday at noon in Laurel Hill United Church of Christ, 8001 South Quay Road, Suffolk. The Rev. Dr. Carl Sweat will officiate. A viewing will take place today from 7 to 8 p.m. in Elvin Vaughan Funeral Home, 1717 South St., Franklin, VA 23851.
