They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up on wings as eagles. They shall run, and not be weary; walk, and not faint.

Mrs. Wilson, Donna, and baby Kennedy, I thank you so much for sharing Rev. Wilson with me and my family. For 24 years you all have been my family when I felt like I didnt have a family to turn to and I appreciate you all so much for that. It goes without saying that I will miss our pastor dearly, but at the same time I can rejoice because I know he's cutting up while he waits for us all to join him. You are my family, and the unconditional love I hold in my heart for you all supercedes any words I could leave here. Stay encouraged and be blessed. I love you all.

And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. John 10-4
I used this scripture, because when I was looking for a church home, the Lord led me to New Union Chapel, AME. Meeting Pastor Wilson and joining New Union was a joy. Pastor Wilson was full of love, wisdom and joy. "The joy of the Lord was his strenghth!" I would eat up every word that proceedeth out of his mouth, because I knew these were words to treasure for life! Every time I think about Pastor, tears filled with joy and sorrow well up in my eyes. I know he's in a better place, but it's hard to say "Goodbye". Mrs. Wilson, Donna and Kennedy, the Brodie family will truly keep you and our church family in prayer.

I hold very fond memories of Rev. Dr. Clifton "Roscoe" Wilson, my first pastor. He has ALWAYS had a kind word of encouragement for every one who crossed his path. Rev. Wilson's life was one that truly demonstrated the love of Jesus Christ.

I could go on forever but the "World Wide Web" isn't large enough to hold all of the memories, kindness, gratitudes, love and respect that I and my family hold for Rev. Wilson.

To the family, Mrs. Geraldine Wilson and Donna, I pray that as time goes on that you will find peace in knowledge that Rev. Wilson is sleeping in the bosom of Jesus. The work Rev. Wilson has done is speaking for him.

Be blessed.

I will truly miss Pastor Cliff's smiling face and encouraging words when he came to visit at Beach Municipal Federal Credit Union. It was always a pleasure to see him and talk with him about the work God was doing at his church. Now, I can only imagine what he is doing in worship with his Lord and Saviour.
