Robin Kevern Obituary


Robin Kevern VIRGINIA BEACH - Robin "Ball" Kevern, 53, of the 400 block of Grenfell Ave., departed this life for her eternal home Sept. 9, 2008. Robin was the daughter of the late George and Rosemary Ball. Survivors include her 9-year-old son, Alexander "Alex" Kevern; sister, June Matthews; brother, Alan Ball; and sister-in-law, Rene Ball; nephew, Michael Ball; dear friend companion, Rick Gravink; and Alex's father, David Kevern. Robin graduated from Princess Anne High School in 1976. She retired from the Virginia Beach Police Department Animal Control. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. in Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home where a celebration of her life will be held Friday at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Rosewood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Virginia Beach Police Department Animal Control or the Virginia Beach SPCA. Friends may send tributes and view Robin's permanent memorial at www.mem.com.
