Antoinette Huntzinger Obituary


Antoinette E. Huntzinger VIRGINIA BEACH - Antoinette E. Huntzinger, 85, of the 1200 block of Shenvalee Drive, died Sept. 14, 2008, in a local hospital. She was a native of Lowell, Mass., and a resident of Hampton Roads since 1959. She was the widow of James Huntzinger and was preceded in death by her son, Eric Joseph Huntzinger. She was a Roman Catholic and member of St. Marks Catholic Church. Survivors include her daughter, Marie Byrne and her husband Hugh of Conshohocken, Pa.; and her son, J. Huntzinger and his wife Marie of Chesapeake; four grandchildren, Bradley and Ryan Byrne, Chris and James Huntzinger; and eight great-grandchildren The funeral will be held at St. Marks Catholic Church Thursday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Father James Griffin. Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery. Memorial donations may take the form of contributions to St. Marks Catholic Church. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Chesapeake Chapel, is handling arrangements. Online condolences may be sent to the family at hdoliver.com.
