Edward Piche Obituary
Edward Robert Piche NORFOLK - Edward Robert Piche, 85, went to be with the Lord Sept. 15, 2008. He was born Feb. 14, 1923, in Ware, Mass., to the late Leon and Aurora Piche. During World War II, Ed served his country in the U.S. Navy. He retired from Hampton Roads Sanitation District after 26 years of employment, from then on he enjoyed his free time. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 62 years, Nancy Piche; daughter, Linda Harrell and husband Samuel of Georgia; son, Randy Piche of Virginia Beach; brother, Robert Piche of Massachusetts; two grandchildren, Russ and Tim Harrell; four great-grandchildren, Ryan, Joshua, Joseph and Jackson; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, conducted by Father Brian Rafferty. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. You may offer condolences at www.mem.com.

Dear Linda, Tommy, Russ, and Tim,
Robert just called me this morning to let me know about your Dad. I am sorry that I did not know sooner, so that I could have come to the service yesterday. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I hope that you all are otherwise doing well. We were sad to here of Uncle Eddies passing if there is anything we can do for you please let us know he will be deeply missed. Love to you all in this time of sorrow and my God and all the Angels help you through.
