Frederick Bybee Obituary
Frederick F. Bybee VIRGINIA BEACH - Frederick F. Bybee, loving father and grandfather, died peacefully Sept. 13, 2008 at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital. His two daughters, Jennifer and Annabel, and his wife, Taeko, were at his side. Fred loved the outdoors, listening to his ham radio and was a saltwater fish hobbyist. He is survived by his two cats, Max and Mimi. They were his joy.

I have very fond memories of Fred Bybee or 'Mr Bybee' as we knew him in high school. Many times, we would come over to his house with several friends to visit Ann. He always took the time to sit and speak with us as 'one of the guys'. I never saw him as the parent of one of my friends but as a true friend himself. Although we did not speak after I graduated from high school, the memories of him will always remain. He will be missed.

Crossing the Bar
Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me!
