Viola Morefield Obituary


Viola Morefield CHESAPEAKE - Viola Morefield, 76, passed at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. Viola was predeceased by her husband, Charles William Morefield and two brothers, Curtis and Ralph Vance. Left to cherish her loving memory are her three sons, John and his wife Pamela, Ronald and his wife Linda and Charles E. and his wife Kelly, all of Chesapeake; two siblings, Glen Vance of Narrows, Va., and Ethel Harris of Chesapeake; along with her five grandchildren, David, Jonathan, Daniel, Kristina and Ashley Morefield. Viola was a faithful member of Fellowship Baptist Church formerly known as Waters Road Baptist. The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd. A celebration of her life will be held Monday at 1 p.m. in Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roger Johnson officiating.
